Final EPA figures for Ireland's climate pollution from 1990-2004

This the EPA's revised report on Ireland's emsissions of greenhouse gases in 2004 and a review of the trend since 1990, which is the baseline year for the Kyoto Protocol. Our commitment is to limit our increase too 13%. Thus report shows we are 23% over 1990 levels. This overshoot will start to cost taxpayers money from 2008 unless the government takes serious steps to reduce our emissions. You can read our response to this report here.
