We have some exciting news to share with you!

Together with Little Island book publishers, Ashley House printers and author Oisín McGann, we’re going to make Ireland’s most eco friendly children’s book titled; “A Short and Hopeful Guide to Climate Change”. And we need your help!

Today we’re launching a crowdfunder to raise €15,000!

All funds raised through this campaign will go directly into making this book. When the books hit bookshop shelves in the new year 10% of book sales will be donated to Friends of the Earth to support our work on climate. Can you donate to help make this happen?

Climate change is complicated – it’s not the easiest topic to talk about. That’s why we decided to get involved in this book. We want everyone to be able to understand climate science and to find real pathways to getting involved in climate action. We want to bring real solutions to light and support young people (and their parents & teachers) in imaging a better world for all. This is what this book is all about, and I hope you can help us raise the funds to get it made!

The book’s content isn’t the only special thing about it – the physical book is pretty awesome too. Little Island and Ashley House are working hard to make this book in the most environmentally friendly way possible – it’s made from recycled materials, it’s fully recyclable, it has zero plastic and the ink is vegan.

Everyone who donates to this crowdfunder will be offered the chance to receive a gift. These gifts include an exclusive digital preview of the book, an electronic book and also a signed copy of the physical book. This could be a perfect gift for a budding climate activist in your life.

We have just a few weeks to try and raise €15,000 by Christmas, can you help spread the word by sharing our crowdfunder with your friends?
