Volunteer with Friends of the Earth at Culture Night

Friends of the Earth is bringing Cuppa for Climate to Culture Night and we are in need of a few volunteers. If you’d like to join us, apply to volunteer now!

Culture Night will be taking place on the 22nd of September all across Ireland, our event will be in Dublin city centre. Culture Night is a national moment, celebrating culture, creativity and the arts.

Cuppa for Climate is a climate conversation with a twist. It is a chance for people to get a group of people together to talk about the climate crisis and explore positive actions for change in a friendly and informal way - while supporting the work of Friends of the Earth. A toolkit is provided with prompts and ideas to start the conversation. 

Bringing Cuppa for Climate to Culture Night will be a great opportunity to introduce more people to the work of Friends of the Earth, encourage them to host their own Cuppa for Climate and take further action on climate. For more information on Cuppa for Climate, click here. 

 

Who we are looking for:

• People with a passion for climate justice and who have an understanding of Friends of the Earth’s work
• People who like to talk and are confident in helping to start and facilitate a climate conversation
• People based in Dublin or who can organise their own transport and accommodation if traveling from afar

Time & Date:

• 22nd of September
• 6 pm to 10 pm 
• Third Space, Smithfield, Dublin

Requirements:

• You must be over 18 to apply
• You must read, sign and agree to the volunteer agreement
• You must be available for the entire duration of the event and must attend an information session prior to the event via zoom (~1 hour). 
• You must be based in Dublin or can organise your own transport or accommodation
