December 2, 2008 View all news Last month's Green Drinks was a great success with a packed room upstairs at the South William Street hearing Richard Delevan set the scene for US election night, followed by free ice-cream donated by Ben and Jerrys.This month our focus shifts to Poland where the latest round of UN climate talks opened yesterday.Oisin Coghlan, Friends of the Earth Director, will speak at 7pm for 10 minutes on what we can expect from the talks and the challenge ahead as the international community seeks to agree a new global treaty on climate change by this time next year when the negotiations are due to finish in Copenhagen.
