Climate justice webinar: watch it back + some more opportunities for learning and action

On Wednesday 28th October, we hosted a webinar to explore the concept of climate justice. Climate justice is a term that has been bandied around a lot lately - but we wanted to dig into what it really means. We’ve recorded the webinar so you can watch it back at your leisure. It’s just over an hour in length and comes highly recommended as we had some excellent speakers and panellists from the world of climate justice, who joined us to talk about their work and activism.

Nathan Thanki is a network coordinator and coalition builder at Demand Climate Justice as well as an author. He was very involved in the recent project “Framing Climate Justice” and writes at The World at 1c. Seán McCabe is a researcher with TASC, a think tank for action on social change and is currently developing a workstream on Just Transition. Dr Ciara Murphy, Environmental Policy Advocate at the Jesuit Centre for Faith and Justice, joined us as a panellist for the Q & A. We also heard from Stop Climate Chaos Mobilisation Coordinator, Áine O'Gorman who talked to us about ways to take action for a stronger Climate Law in Ireland.
